More about Whirly

Whirly is a three year old special needs kitty who lived outside along with over 20 cats on a hoarder's property. The owner said her head got smashed by a garage door. Life was horrible for this kitty. She has a tilt to her head, a fractured jaw and is FIV positive. Her growth has been stunted so she is about the size of a five-month-old kitten. Like all the other cats that were saved that day she also had an upper respiratory infection. But thanks to our investigators she was saved and brought to the animal hospital for treatment. She was very skinny and infested with fleas on top of her other horrible problems. The animal hospital fell in love with the courageous, sweet and outgoing kitty. She has received medical care and is on her way to good health. She will always have a head tilt and a jaw issue but she is eating well on her own, gaining weight, using the litter box and winning the hearts of everyone she meets.
